Ylönen Family Meeting and Reunion 2025

The next Ylönen family reunion will be 16 June 2025 in Kangasniemi, Finland. Kangasniemi is one of the major Ylönen family locations. More details about the reunion to be informed later.

Collecting Ylönen stories

A Facebook group "Ylösten tarinoita" opened in November 2023. You can send there photos and stories about the history of our family. It is a closed group: you have to join and be accepted as a member, so the information you post will not be shared with the public. You can of course send your stories and stories via email as you have done up to now.
At this stage, we are only collecting information. Any publication will start later. So for now, feel free to send us your material. There is no story too small that would not interest us. It is important to let us know who is in the photo, what year it was taken and where it was taken. Each story should also include the contact details of the sender, for any further clarification.

Ylönen Family Meeting and Reunion 2022

This year's family reunion was in Mikkeli, Finland at the old Kenkävero vicarage.
There were more than 40 members of the family society present. There were family members from the US and they had a possibility to meet their relatives at a family reunion. For the next three years, Vilho Ylönen will be the chairman of the board and Tuula Ylönen will be the secretary for the Ylönen Family Association.
